The Moak family of Jacob in New Scotland, NY has celebrated the anniversary of a family reunion for going on 74 years. Each year the gathering is held in upstate New York in the region around the John Boyd Thatcher State Park. I am currently the President of the family reunion with wife, Karen. Although attendence at this reuinion has varied over the years, we have had between 60 and 80 people from all over the country show up to swap tales and meet family they've known or just met. There is always a surprise at each reunion.

The reunion is held on the first Saturday in August each year. Bring a dish to share, and a place setting. Meat, beverages, and gifts are provided.

John Moak (brother of Michael)
