I am searching for a Betty Maas whose full name may be Elizabeth. My mother had photos of Betty as a child and I assumed she was one of my early playmates. However I recently discovered that the married name of one of my father's cousins was Maas and discovered a photo of this same child (Betty) in an album that had belonged to my grandmother. I now believe that Betty and I are related, possibly 2nd or 3rd cousins. The photo, taken in the 1940s, is of a little girl with shortish blonde hair and a mischevious smile, holding a black kitten. If I am correct, Betty may have been the daughter of Carroll Maas Jr. or Quincy Maas. She may have lived in or near Equality IL or had relatives from that area. I think the photos may have been taken in NE but possibly were taken in OR or WA. He grandparents or great grandparents may have been Hallie Davis and Moses Quincy Maas from Equality IL. Does anyone connect with this family?
