To My Maas Relatives

I've read your many contributions on the GenForum website and thought perhaps you could help me and that I might be able to share useful information with you. My GG grandmother was Emiley Maas. She was born 12AUG1852 in Canada, married 1869 in Michigan to Moses Verville, and died 20JAN1924 in Duluth, MN. Her father was John B. Maas, born in Prussia about 1826. His father was born in France and his mother, Prussia. The wife of John B. was Angeline Maas (Celeri) also born in Prussia about 1841.

In the 1880 US Michigan Census (3rd Ward, Negaunee, Marquette) the Maas family is listed as follows:

John B. Maas        Mining Agent Age 54 Angeline Maas        Housekeeper Age 48

Rudolph J. Maas Physician & Surgeon Age 24
Ida M. Maas        At Home Age 22
Frank Maas        Attending School Age 21
George Maas Attending School Age 18
William Maas Machinist Age 17
Walter L. Maas Age 8
Arthur E. Maas Age 6

Moses Verville Farmer Age 38
Emiley Maas Verville Housekeeper Age 28
Joseph Verville Age 11
Moses Verville Age 9
Louis Verville Age 6
Emma Verville (My Grandmother) Age 1

Two questions! Does anyone with a Maas heritage see a family link? Can anyone help me with a Prussia link?
