My GGGrandparents, Carl Maass (b. 1881) & Frederika (Benhnke) Maass (b. 1847, d. 1927) are listed in the 1881 Census in England with a birthplace of Germany. They were living in Ormesby, York, England at the time of the census. There are five children listed in the household, they are:
Henrietta b. 1866 in Germany d. 1957 in Florida, USA
Frederick b. 1869 in Germany
Julia b. 1871 in Germany d. 1900 in No Ormesby, Middlesbrough, England
Annie b. abt 1876 in Ormesby, England
Carl b. abt 1880 in Ormesby, York, England

Does any one have the parents of either of these or know what part of Germany they came from??
