I am trying to locate all of the descendants of Jacob Kristensen MAAS bn:1736 at: Hjelmset, Sømna, Nordland, Norge. Jacob lived and died at Alsvåg, Øksnes, Norland, Norge. He was the first to gain the rights to be a Nordlandshandler from the king of Denmark. The large home he lived in was bought from the King of Denmark and it still stands at Alsvåg as a Museum.
He married: Anna Magdalene Andersdatter And Mørch in 1769.
They had several children 1.Neils Jacobsen Maas 1775 2.Andreas Christian Jacobsen Maas 1771 3.Ingeborg Jacobsdatter Maas 1776 4.Christian Jacobsen Maas 5.Jens Jacobsen Maas 6.Magdalena Jacobsdatter Mørch Maas 7.Anna Jacobsdatter Mørch Maas 8.unknown Maas 9.Anders Jacobsen Maas 10.Hans Jacobsen Maas 11.Jacob Jacobsen Maas 12.Malena Maas.
I am trying to locate all of the descendants (of which I am One)of Jacob K. MAAS and madame Anna Magdalene Andersdatter And Mørch. I have located a few direct lines but there are many more to go. If anyone is a descendant of Jacob K. MAAS (or descendants of any of his many brothers of the area) the information would be most welcomed.
