I wanted to respond to this because my grandfather's name was John G. Maas. His family was from Holland. I would like to see if this is the same family. My grandfather passed on about a year ago. He was a great man and I would like to learn more about his ancestors. We live in Central Illinois, Pekin to be exact. It is located across the river from Peoria. My grandfather has lived here all of his life. If you need to know more information I would be glad to answer any questions you might have.
