The info that I have found on the Mabb family is all in the US, starting in 1730. I came across this information while researching the Mabie family. It seems that the records of the two families have been confused in the past, and I wanted to get them straightened out.

The earliest record that I have found is for a Thomas Mabb who married in 1730. Thomas had three children, Elizabeth, Robert and John. I do not know where Thomas came from, but it seems plausible that he was English. I have traced his descendants through approximately 1850. If you are interested in the data that I have found, I will be glad to send it to you. I have everything in a Microsoft Word file. Please contact me directly at SMabie@AOL.com
