Dear Mr. Mabbs: I'm not a relative but I do have a book that may have belonged to one of your relatives, I found it with some family books that I have been caring for. This book is well traveled judging by the inscription on the title page. The book is Five On A Treasure Island by Enid Blyton, Twelfth Impression (Reset) 1956. The inscription says: Francis Mabbs, 42 Haswick (Kaswick) Grds., Ilford, Essex. It started it's journey with my family in New England, we then moved West, then back to the Midwest, I went to Europe with the Military, and I now live in Fairbanks, Alaska, USA. I remember reading this book as a child (obviously didn't pay much attention to the handwritten name in it) and at least one of my children has read this book. Do you think this book belonged to a close relative of yours? I wonder how it came to be in my family collection? Trish Novak Fairbanks, Alaska USA Notify Administrator about this message?
