I am researching Mibb line, have James Mibb m. Massa Lawson in Decatur County, Indiana in 1836. Also a John Meabb & James Meabb in the 1850 Census of that county. James was born in NC about 1813, JOhn about 1817. Massa Lawson also born in NC. Can't trace them after that, despite the thought that they might be from Stokes County Mabe family. Anyone run across these guys anywhere? Thanks!
