I have a John Maben who lived in NY and served in Rev. War. He died in NY as far as I know. Family sources say the Mabens came from France and went to Ireland and then came to America. John married Sally Pierce and I am from their son Hugh who married Betsy Gregory. Does this match your information? I hope so. Pls email me: jeden@bellatlantic.net
