My Maban ancestors came from Kirkcudbrighshire
Thomas Maban married Agnes Grierson from a farmingfamily( mothers name Esther Bell) 1810 in Girthon Parish
Their children ( known) were William who owned a shop on the High Street, Kircudbright, Marion who moved to Notts and married John Taylor,Esther also married in Notts, Margaret
Thomas was a Master Mariner.
