Maben Whitsome Scotland

My great great grandmother was Margaret Maben. I believe she was the daughter of Thomas Maben and Margaret Blackall and was born in Whitsome Berwick Scotland in 1835. She married John Robertson in Coldstream Berwick in 1856. Probably Methodist or irregular. They and their family came to Queensland Australia in 1876. Any information on the Mabens would be greatly appreciated.
Also Mabon was a figure in ancient British myth. He was the son of the goddess Modron and his story is told in the 'Mabinogion'. Probably Mabon and its variations (I know of 33) evolved from this. It is a particually common name on the Scottish-English border but is known elsewhere maybe even France.
