So glad to hear from you. I have been trying to locate a current email address for you after seeing your MABERRY post on Melanie's MABERRY website. She has been sending me every email address she could find for you, but none worked. * Note: You might want to go back there & update your email. The last one I sent to you was for the Yahoo.com address.
You & I are 2nd cousins! Opal (Maberry) BROOKS was my grandmother, & Aunt Eunice's sister. My parents were grandma's oldest child, Doyle C. BROOKS, & Edith Mae BILDERBACK.
We lived out in Benicia, CA. about 7 yrs. when I was little, but I don't believe my grandparents ever lived in CA. They did visit us (from OK.) while we lived there.
I know what you mean about confusing especially when you are trying to put faces when you've got only names. I only met a few of the G-Aunts & G-Uncles, & that was so long ago!
Didn't your grandmother have a Daycare in Sacramento years ago?
