Forgot about this untill after I emailed you. Some years back I was in contact with a Mabey decendent in England after I downloaded her gedcom file off Rootsweb. She had a Wm. b.1734 and wife Ann Long b.1741 Mabey listed as her ancestors. Those names are real close to Henry's parents names. Except for dates as Wm. b.1734 would be way to old. Either wrong people or my kin missed a generation somehow. The Names in her info was a lot like Henry's. Wm. b. 1741 had a son named John b. 1870. The only child listed for John was a John Jr. She told me at the time she had not researched any other lines in the family.
Probably good bet that Henry was son of John but no proof. I tried to email her again but it bounced.
Jerry

P.S. Have a John Ross Mabey and his son Howard Ross Mabey in my line.
