Mike, I'm so excited to see your message. Yes, you and Alfred and I am all in the same family. I am granddaughter of Nelson and Hattie Maybell, daughter of Lois. Nelson, Alfred and Lewis, as well as Bob, Frank (Francis) were all brothers, sons of William. From my memory, you have a brother Steve and your mom was Shinky (sp?) and you lived in Texas. The Bob that died that Alfred writes about was Robert E, father of Frank and Susan who also live in Texas.
Alfred Zumbrow and I have just found each other and the Maybell line seems hard to get further back than Aaron. I've been working on the mother's side (Gladys Smith Grant) and have found her mother and grandfather. Little by little we'll piece it together.
My grandmother Hattie is still living, is 97 years old and is in Victorville, CA. I live in Washington State now and am anxious to hear from you.
Hopefully with all of us working on this we will be able to complete our puzzle.

Glad to find you cousin! Dee Merrell
