I believe William Mable 1820 was the son of William MABLE 1794 a plumber who was born in Sawley on Trent, Derbyshire.

William 1794- was in turn the son of Isaac MABLE who married Elizabeth SMITH in Southwark, London in 1791 and then spent the next few years wandering round the English Midlands having at least 8 children before winding up again in London.
