Mable family of London England

My paternal Great Grandmother is Emily Mable. Although I can not locate a birth registration for her according to the 1851,61,71,81,91 and 1901 England Census she was born about 1845 in St Mary le Strand, London, England. In the 1851 and 1861 she is living with her father William (plumber) born about 1794 in Sawley on Trent, Derbyshire and her mother, Sarah who was born about 1803 in Walworth (Lambeth?) Surrey.

In the 1871 Census Emily, now 25 years old is living with her father William (aged 76). He is now a widower. Also living with them is a Benjamin I. Mable (grandson) aged 22 born in Windsor, Berkshire. This grandson Benjamin (father unknown) married a Sarah Jane Francis and had a family of 6 children, 2 of whom were twins who died in their first year of life.

In all census's the Mables are living on Catherine Street.

Emily married my Great Grandfather William Wright in 1875 at St James, Bermondsey, LOndon. He was a widower and already had 8 children. Emily and William had another 7 children. When William died in 1907, Emily moved to British Columbia Canada with her youngest son, James. In 1881 Emily and William are living at 30 Catherine Street. In 1891 they are still at St Catherine Street, but by 1901 they have moved to Herne Hill, Lambeth,

My guess is that William had a previous marriage to Sarah and probably children. Anyone with more information on the earlier marriage and children, please reply. With thanks.

Emily died in 1928 aged 82.
