Thanks for the details of Sarah Mable's death. Yes, this story of the Mable family descending from the French Hugenots has also been past down in our family history. This may explain the numerous french books we have with Emily's name in them. She also received a book as a Christmas present from the Royal Savoy School. I have never been able to find out anything about this school. Do you have the details of Sarah and William's marriage?
