I dont think i have looked at that marriage but will do. I sent off for a birth certificate for Emily mable born in sept 1844 just to make sure it was not our Emily. It came back this one was a Mably not Mable. Not our one.

I have found two marriages in parish registers for William Mable born 1794/5.

On page 106 No 316 record
William Mable Bachelor, married Mary White spinster, in St Olave on 30 May 1819.
William left his mark x, Mary signed her name.
Witnesses were John Adams & Thomas Bastin? Bastins? hard to read.
It is worth noting that the same two witnesses were also witness to a marriage on the same page, so doubtful relatives.

On page 39 or 89 No 115 record of

William Mable widower, Married Martha Prior Widow, in St Olave, Southwark on 25 September 1831.
This time both signed their names.

The witnesses were Isaac Mable and Hannah Mable, who were his father and sister.
