I am researching the surname MABLE in Ireland and Scotland. The name has been spelled Mabel, Mabelle and Mable.

My Mables came from northern England and some emmigrated to Ireland after 1851.
My grandfather was a William MABLE, born in England. I have several William Mables in my line.
