Robert Mable (1803-1885) - Mableton, GA

Joel Aycock Sr. and Rebecca Bradford had a daughter, Pheriby Lane Aycock who married Robert Mable. Robert and Pheriby had seven children. Pheriby died in childbirth 11/2/1851. Robert then married Almeda Polk Aycock, widow of James Hodge and first cousin of Pheriby Lane Aycock. When Robert married Almeda, she had two children, Elizabeth Bradford Hodge and Caroline Hodge. Robert and Almeda then had three more children. Robert, Pheriby, and Almeda are all buried in the family cemetery behind the Mable House in Mableton, Georgia.

Caroline Hodge was my third great grandmother. I have information on her ancestors. I will be glad to share information.
