Are you by any chance related to Irene Alice Mabon, born about 1894 in London ? Her maiden name was Bransom and she was my grandmother's cousin. She moved to Manchester with her parents and married a Mabon, though I have no idea about his first name or origins. I just thought there was a possibility as you live in Cheshire.
