Hi, Laura. I sent an email to you in July but your computer must have still been down.
I would love to have a copy of the account of the Battle of Dove Creek that you have.

I have clippings of articles that appeared in the Clifton Record in 1984 written by Elizabeth Torrence. Titles are Jasper N. Mabray Was First County Clerk of Bosque Co.; Bosque Militia Losses Heavy in Battle of Dove Creek; and Militia Companies Helped Protect County During Civil War Period.
One of my great aunts had an article from the paper written in 1955 about Martha Mabray First White Child. She sent it to me back in the 80's when I first became interested in family history. Do you have those articles?

No, I have never lived in Clifton. My parents grew up around there, still have lots of relatives there. They moved to Lubbock right after they married and moved back to Clifton after retirement and then Temple. I moved to Austin, then Dallas and now I'm in Temple too.
I'd rather not put my address on the net so will send another email to you and hope it gets there. "Cousin Sandy"
