Hi, i don't know if you have checked out the other messages or not. but i was going to tell you that there are some messages posted about David Mabray he was a Sherifff of Yalobusha Co. MS and mived to Rusk Co., TX. He's son was Jasper Newton Mabray, Co-foinder of Bosque Co.,TX and first county clerk there who was the father of the first white born child there (Martha). he was also a Texas Ranger who served with Jack Coffee Hayes at Monterey Mexico during that little skirmish after Texas became a part of the U.S. and also there is one that talks about a James Mabray who was killed in Dove Creek during the Civil War. a lady named Laura King has it posted. don't know if it helps, but you may want to check it out. if you run arcoss any Mabra's please let me know and let me know if this works for you.
Jamie Mabra
