I am researching a Sam Mabrey in NW Arkansas.
Try Searcy County....that includes the towns of
Marshall and Leslie.
An S.E. (Sam) Mabrey had a mercantile store
in the town of Leslie in late 1800's/early 1900's.
I found information in the Searcy County Ancestor
Exchange, I think saying that Sam Mabrey had a
nice selection of goods in his store in the old
original Potter house. The Potter house belonged
to my gg grandfather, so I am trying to track down
any Mabreys who might be related to find out about
the house.
