I have information from an old newspaper in NW ARK
stating that S.E. (Sam) Mabrey "has a nice selection
of well-priced items in his mercantile, located in
the original old Potter house" ....in Leslie, Arkansas.This would have been in the late 1800's probably.
I am a descendant of the Potter mentioned above.
Does anyone know of a Sam Mabrey of Searcy County AR
who had a general store in Leslie? If so, he set it
up in my gg grandfather's original house and I'd love
to find someone who knows of this or might know where
I can find pictures.
