Does anyone know of a connection between the Mabrys and the Eldridges? One of my ancestors was Thomas Eldridge, in fact there were three of them, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. This line of Eldridge can trace their line back to Pocahontas.
Irwin Mabry was the father of John Thomas Eldridge Mabry. In Carroll Co. GA in 1843, Irwin Mabry gave his beloved child what seems to be Irwin's whole estate. Were there other children or was Irwin an only child/surviving child? Who was Irwin Mabry married to?
What connection does this Irwin Mabry have to Branch Mabry, Hinchey Mabry, etc of Carroll Co. GA? There was also a Joel Mabry and Ephriam Mabry connected to these Mabrys.
My 3rd great grandmother was Mary Mabry, who is alledgely the sister of Hinchey Parham Mabry, Branch M. Mabry, Felicia Jane Mabry and an Irwin Mabry. Their parents being Charles Mabry and Phoebe Gibbs.
Mary Mabry b. 1805 GA married Moses Stallings; Hinchey Parham Mabry married Lynnea Stallings sister of Moses Stallings.
