The lineage that I have is (1)Peter, Abt. 1680-1685, (2) Christoph, Dec. 24th.1710, (3)
Jacob, May 16th. 1747, (4) CHRISTOPH Jan 15th
1774 (5) Jacob R. Abt 1811, (6) George F. July 1850, (7) Charles R., July 24th 1875.
in Wood County Texas & (8) Maggie May, February 20th. 1922,Wood County Texas. Died
March 2nd. 2000. Maggie was MY Wife of over
61 years. I Hope this is helpful. All of these people except the last three were born in Germany (State of Hessen)Christoph (1774)
came into the Port of Charleston in 1833,with two sons. His name was spelled MAIBUS. The name in Germany was mostly spelled MEBUS/MOBUS.
