I am looking for information about the decendants of Johann Rhineheart Mabus. Specifically, I am trying to find the link between him and Denver Mabus, born 3 Jul 1893. I believe that Denver may be his grandson or grand-nephew. I have been told that both Denver and his father died in the great influenza epidemic of 1918.

As for the Mississippi Mabuses, Ackerman is the area of greatest concentration. Both Denver and Ray Mabus grew up in Atherton. I think that Denver and Ray's father were first cousins.
