As this is unfolding, the John Rhineheart Mabus (Jr.)that married Jennie is the son of John Rhineheart Mabus (Sr.) married to Elizabeth J. Betts. I, so far, had only one census on J. R. (wife Jennie) 1900 Choctaw Co., MS, Beat 5, ED 32, sht. 16A, family: 300/307. John R., Mabus (Apr 1860), Jennie (Oct 1869), Eather (Aug 1889) and Orpha (July 1894).
I have no further info on Elizabeth J. Betts either. She and John Rhinehart Mabus (Sr.) are buried Bethlehem Baptist Cem., Choctaw Co., MS.
