Don't know if this will help-my ggg-grandmother was Elizabeth Mabus, daughter of Frederich Leonard Mobus or Mabus. She was born 2-25-1831 and her father, Frederich, was born 12-23-1788. Other children include:
Frederick Nebas?1814, Elias Mabus1817,Simon
Mapis1819,Levina Mefus?1825,Jonathan Mabus1830, and Magdalene Anne Massus?1829.
What a wild variation on the interpretation of that name!Records from Evangelical Church, Moorestown, Northampton, PA
