Macaleese or McCaleese I'm not even sure of the exact spelling but I do know that the family came from Ireland to Scotland and that a daughter Jeannie was born in Gourock on 7th May 1924, she also had a sister Betty and a brother Hugh.
Jeannie and Betty moved to Glasgow and Married 2 brothers Duncan & James.
Betty died very young in childbirth I think but Jeannie had 5 children became a widow on 21st March 1967 She remarried in November 1976 (I think) his nae was Joseph McKeeve.
Jeannie died 27th November 1994
Hated the name Jeannie and insisted on being called Jean
