Whisky and Alexander McArthur of Cawdor/Stirling

There were many Macarthurs in Cawdor, undoubtedly come in 16th or 17th centuries from Islay with the Campbells of Cawdor. One or two were factors/servitors to the Thane. I have mention of Alexander McArthur at Polneach who may have been distiller (whisky) as I find (on web) mention of

Standort: Schottland, Bereich InvernessBesitzer: Alexander McArthurIn Betrieb: 1798 - 1799
and
Standort: Schottland, Stirlingshire, NS9378Besitzer: Alexander McArthurIn Betrieb: 1822POLNACH

has anybody heard of these whiskys?
Has anybody any connection with Mcarthurs from Stirlingshire? Alexander married and had numerous children.
Many thanks for info, Jane
