I am looking for: Sir John MacArthur or McArthur spouse of Margaret Adamson. Marriage: January 9 th, 1806 Yorkshire, England. Emigrated to U.S.A no date or states. There was a portrait (painting) of Sir John MacArthur and Margaret Admamson. That portrait (painting) was given by heritage to Louisa Robillard born in Cleveland Ohio circa Sept. 24, 1864. Louisa died in 1946 in Canada. That Louisa is probably the grand-child of John MacArthur and Margaret Adamson. Louisa is the daughter of Sophie or Sophia Amelia MacArthur or McArthur and Jean Damase Robillard married in 1853. Louisa Robillard married to Thomas Mousseau (14 children born in Buckingham Canada, between 1884 and circa 1905) According to the family tradition: many years ago, the portrait (painting) was given to Marie Antoinette known as Peggy Mousseau (daughter of Louisa Robillard and Thomas Mousseau). Peggy Mousseau married to Henri Georges Brunet in 1928 Pointe-Calumet. The portrait (painting) could be in the hand of Peggy's child: Marie Therese Brunet (living in the USA) married to un unknown husband and having two children: Georges and Louise (family name unknown). One child of Louisa Robillard and Thomas Mousseau: Grace Beatrice born in Buckingham, Qc January 16 th, 1905. Grace died October 17 th, 2002 at Sackville, NB, Canada. The death notice indicate that she is the child of Louisa MacArthur instead of Robillard. Grace Beatrice married James Wright (civil marriage) probably in Ontario. The death notice confirm that Grace have a child Jamie Wright married to Barbara unknown of Sackville,NB. Living 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I try to help a friend. If you have the key of the puzzle, please contact me. Warm regards, Louise Notify Administrator about this message?
