I know my family roots are intertwined with McInnes and Firth as well. I have no other info at the moment and only post what I find. There is an article posted by me under the spelling of "McArthur" as that is how it appeared in the newspaper clipping. Wish my Dad (Charlie Moffat) was still around as he could remember everything with incredible accuracy. There is a local geneaology researcher but I hesitate to broadcast his name on this forum in case he be "swamped". I can let you know in a private email. He has specialized in the Glenelg area.
