hello, I am related to a family of MacArthurs from Martintown - which is very close to Williamstown.. the good news is that there were not a huge number of MacArthurs unlike some other families. I would be happy to exchange information that I have. My MacArthurs came to the U.S. from Scotland in 1775 on the Commerce in two groups. They started out in the Upper Mohawk River Valley and were loyalists to the crown during the Revolutionary War. They were awarded the land in Martintown and lived on the original concession until about 1860. my email address is sandrascallahan@hotmail.com happy to exchange info...sc
