Hi David, let me know if I can Help, my MacAskills, are also from Skye, and various small Isle's.

We are also desend from the McKinnons, McKenzie's, and MacLeods, (Just only too name a few). My MacAskills desend from Tasquill, b. 1170.

I am working on a mainline MacAskill chart filling in all of the missing information while trying to make my family connection. I have aquired a large amount of information, I have been researching my line seriously for the past 4 years, and have recieved alot from others linking their roots as well., is full of the historical information on the MacAskills, and it will become a useful guide as you travel back in time you move in history with you family having a base from history helps, Dianne.
