Four children born in Scotland, the rest born in Englishtown; four children died as babies. She died at 80 years old.
They had the following children:

He was the last child born in Scotland. His family moved to Englishtown, on the south side of St. Ann's Harbour, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada in 1831, at a time when Bernerary and the neighbouring larger islands of North Uist and Harris were being cleared of people by the landlords to make way for sheep. His family moved into Donald McAuley's old home and bought 100 acres of land. In this new home there were forests and bears. Angus killed 3 bears: on Kelly's Mountain, Munro's Point, and Rocky Point, Englishtown. His family was Presbyterian.
Until in his early teens Angus's size was average; by the time he was 20 years of age he was 7 foot 9 inches in height. Angus became known in Gaelic as "Gille Mor St. Ann's", "The St. Ann's Big boy", as he grew to measure almost 80 inches around the chest and to weigh 425 pounds.
He was 7'9" tall. His hands measured 7" X 13". He had deep blue eyes and curly black hair. He weight 636 pounds at his heaviest, usually 450-500 pounds. His shoes were size 18. He had an 11-foot span from hand to hand. He smoked a pipe. To all who knew him, angus was a kind and gentle man: perfectly proportioned physically, he was a tireless worker in his chosen pursuits of fishing and farming.
In 1850 he left home to be exhibited in the U.S. Also in 1850 he toured the West Indies and Cuba. With money earned from touring, he opened a shop and bought a grist mill.
