Carol, do you know of any ties with your MacAskills to lewis? My grandfather, also Angus MacAskill b. 1896 at 14 Shulishader, Point, on Lewis, to Donald MacAskill, and Margaret Macleod, also said to have been related to the family of Norman and Christine. My mother says she still remembers her dad talking about him. I can't find any links to the relationship of the two. There are many MacAskills in the Stornoway area and I can't quite connect with a family link past 1795 with the oldest family member a Angus MacAskill sons Donald b 1796, and John b. 1798. Any ideas? Dianne.

I have even been working my way around the Isles and no connection for the Sr. Angus?
