Nova Scotia Vital stats can be accessed free at
www.novascotiagenealogy.ca
You may need to download a viewer program which is free onsite to see the actual record.
I did a quick search and the birth registration, marriage certificate and death certificate can all be viewed at the above site (note death certificate is under Mc, other two records Mac.
