In my search for my great grandfather, Daniel McAssey, b. 1852, I got a reply from a woman on behalf of her father, Thomas McAssey, b. Rathoe, Co. Carlow in 1925. His father, Thomas Sr. was born in 1900, d. 1952. By dates, may have been a brother to your grandmother Ellen, but this may be a stretch. Contact Mary Logan at liamlogan@tinet.ie. Use my name.
