I think this family is related to my sister in law; whose tree I have been compiling. Her anscestor is Robert Macaulay born 1852 Glasgow brother to Alexander I believe. He married Mary McGregor 20 Mar 1877 at Blythswood Glasgow and had 3 children that I know of. George Alexander Macaulay 24 Dec 1877, Robert Macaulay 9 Oct 1879, and Charles Forsyth Macaulay 3 Jan 1882 all Milton Glasgow Lanark.
Charles Forsyth is her grandfather. He married Sophia Gray 28 April 1905 Beith Ayr. They had 3 daughters Jean, Agnes and Sophia. The had 1 son Robert. Charles moved his family to Leeds Yorkshire some time after his wife's death in 1923.
