I have Alexander Steele (son of Malcolm & Hannah Johnson) married to Jane MacAulay (daughter of Allan MacAulay & Mary MacEachan). Alexander & Jane wed 1823 in Bornish but says she is from N. Uist. Census records say she was born South Uist? Both died in South Uist. They had:
Donald c 1831
Mary c 1833
Janet c 1835 - wed Alexander Morrison 1866 in Bornish.
Allan c 1841 - wed Mary MacEachan of Arisaig 1869 in Barra.
Archibald c 1843 (my ggrandad) wed Janet Cumming 1882 in Bornish.
Donald c 1849

Does anyone have any information on any of the above especially the MacAualay side. Did Jane have any siblings?
