Archibald's second son was George, who was a doctor in London and Archibald's executor in 1761. In 1738 this son would have been 22, which seems about right to be a medical student. 1738 also sounds a bit late to be a student and Archibald's brother. However, not impossible? The name George seems very uncommon for the Macaulay.
