Thanks for the info. I have Alexander Macaulay, son of George Macaulay and Agnes Hay born March 23, 1864 Blyhswood, Lanark. George Macaulay, the father, was born 1850 Kilearn, Stirling, died Beith 1892 married Agnes Hay Sept 18, 1846 Barony, Lanark. Agnes was born btw 1823-1825 Baldernock, Stirlingshire. I descend from Alexander's brother George.

I have Alexander married to Jean Stewart with the first son born 1885.

Anyone else have this Alexander or the Alexander married to Jean Stewart so that I can verify if this Alexander was married twice or that I have him mixed up with the one m to a Stewart?
