Author Fannie Caldwell (1863-1941), AKA Frances Little; m. J. D. Macaulay, spice merchant
Caldwell born at Shelbyville, KY; dau of Judge James Caldwell and aunt of Alice Caldwell Hegan, dau of Sallie P, Caldwell and Samuel Watson Hegan, son of Francis Hegan. Alice Hegan was also a writer. Alice married the poet Cale Young Rice, son of Laban and Martha Lacy Rice.
