Dear Dianne, What year was your grandfather born, I know that my Great-Grandfather had a younger brother John born around 1849. I don't think they are the same immediate family however. My great grandfather was born in 1841 at Strond,Isle of Harris. His Brother John would have been born in Cape Breton as the family emigrated in 1843-44.
As for relation's and their names I have not been able to link them yet with the exception of Campbell's,MacLeod's and possibly Ferguson's.
