I am looking for info on the McEntire, McEntyre, MacIntire, etc. family. The line I am working on came over from Scotland in the 1800's. The info I have states they came from Scotland into NY, Fulton County about 1820's. The Father: Phillip MacIntire, spouse not known; son - Phillip II m. Rebecca Powell, Phillip II died in Gordon Co., Calhoun, GA. USA about 1853. Their children were: John A. (born: 1813) - m. Athalia Bowman (b. 1815); William Tedford (b. 1825-1864 died Battle of Atlanta) m. Sarah Elizabeth Hall (1827-1861); Rebecca (b.?) m. Ely Picknes Howell. My decentant line is William Tedford and Sarah. I have a lot of info on the 2 brothers and their decendents. I would like to know more about the line from Phillip II and back...who were his parents, etc. THANKS
