I am just starting my research on the Mackay clan too. I found this on the website.

Social Security Death Index
HENRIETTA MACKAY Born: 10-1-1919, Died:
12-29-1988, Residence at death was zip 32958 (Sebastian, Indian River, FL), SSN: 030-07-7908. State issued: Massachusetts Before 1951.

I was not able to find Thomas. If you need any help, I have access to this database, maybe we can find a connection.

BTW, my grandfathers name is Donald Bruce MacKay, his mother was Rosamond Martin MacKay and father was Andrew Mackay, born 4-27-1905, died 5-1978 in Hampton, VA, SSN was issued in Massachussetts also, so there might be a connection between Henrietta nd Andrew (if I have the right Henrietta).

Let me know if there is a connection. Thanks.
