I`ve just spotted your enquiry. I am a direct descendant living in Scotland of Peter and Christina through their daughter Johanna, my great grandmother. I recall my grandad Peter Mackay Falconer, her[2nd?] son, telling me stories as a child about Peter, with whom he stayed for some years as a child in Kirtomy or Swordly, near Bettyhill.
I`ve been researching the Mackay family tree and have got back to Peter Mackay`s parents and Christina`s parents. According to my grandad, PeterMackay`s grandfather was "Peter the Pirate" who served on a French privateer after being pressganged as a youth.
I have in fact posted an enquiry on the clan mackay website about the story. I don`t know what details you have but if you want specific info or have info to exchange I`d be glad to hear from you.
